A high-level look at how Argix Labs works — from building a strategy to exporting its code.
What Argix Labs Does
Argix Labs is a workbench for trading bots. Rather than offering pre-made strategies or investment advice, it gives you the tools to design and test your own, and to take the result with you.
You build bots by combining visual components — signals that detect opportunities, filters that gate when conditions are right, entry and exit rules, position sizers that control how much capital each trade uses, and risk controls that enforce safety limits.
Once assembled, a bot can be backtested against historical data and exported as code. You run the exported code yourself, on the platform and account you choose.
How a Bot Is Evaluated
A bot is a graph of blocks on the canvas. Blocks run by category in a fixed pipeline order, whether or not they are wired together; wires decide ownership and, for conditional branches, weights and Custom Value blocks, what runs first. Structural blocks like groups, weights, and conditional branches let you compose multi-path strategies while keeping everything inspectable.
For each bar: 1. Check signal conditions (OR logic — any can trigger) 2. Validate filter conditions (AND logic — all must pass) 3. Calculate position size 4. Enforce risk limits 5. Simulate the entry at this bar's close, plus any slippage and commission you set 6. Check exit conditions on open positionsNo Broker Connection
Argix Labs does not connect to brokerage accounts. It never asks for brokerage API keys, never sees your balances or positions, and never places an order. Every trade you see in Argix is a simulated one, in a backtest.
Argix used to connect to brokers and run bots live. It stopped on 28 September 2026, and the stored brokerage credentials were deleted.
Security
The keys you can store with Argix — for market data providers and AI models — are encrypted at rest with authenticated encryption. They are never stored in plaintext and are never sent back to your browser. All communication with the platform is secured with TLS. See Security for details.
